The National Service Scheme, providing experience to students of our college delivers community service. Mr. R. K. Nivendran, Head of the Department, Aeronautical Engineering, is the NSS Programme Officer. As a part of NSS, Swachh Bharat Campaign is executed with various activities such as market cleaning, channel cleaning, toilet construction etc. Tree plantation programme had been implemented as a token of green environment generation. Eye camp too had been introduced for the welfare of communities. In addition to this, road safety awareness rally and dengue awareness campaign was successfully accomplished. A special camp is conducted every year at various villages of Kanyakumari district. Last year, NSS special camp was conducted in the month of 11th February at Vencode, Kanyakumari district and 50 volunteers had participated.
